Sage was born in the District of Columbia and grew up in both DC and Maryland. Fusing the genres oF rap, hip-hop, R&B, and neo-soul, his music has been sweeping the DMV for years and can be heard everywhere from night clubs to websites such as ArtistPR.com, where he was a featured artist. But life wasn't always this sweet. At the age of 2, Sage was put in a foster home, where he met his foster brother and his cousins, who were also musically inclined. Sage spent his entire childhood being shuffled between foster homes, not knowing where he was going to live. Then at the age of 13, Sage's mother tragically passed away. He channeled the pain he felt into music and began singing in churches and school choirs. In high school, Sage and his friends started a singing group and earned themselves an opportunity to perform at the Apollo. Later on, Sage met up with Uncle B, a member of the go-go band 2GB. He joined the band for a brief time, which inspired him to start his own go-go band. Sage was the lead singer and owner of 2B NVD Band, and his career as a musician began to take off. Unfortunately, Sage found himself surrounded by band members who were not willing to put in the same amount of hard work and dedication as he was, so he was forced to put his musical career on hold. As fate would have it, Sage soon met Andrew Clemons, CEO of Kamity Productions. He began recording with other talented artist at the label, including his brother Young Nahledge, Kronuckle, and Brandee Britt. Now Sage is pursuing his own record label, Loyal-T Entertainment, to bring talented artist that are creating real music into the mainstream. He is also performing with his team. He has performed at DC hot spots such as The La Pearl, B Palace, Gee’s Nightclub, and Sweet Mango’s, where both Loyal-T Entertainment and Kamity Productions are well known. Sage is currently working on his debut album, which will include such hits as Getaway, Sextramental, Fresh, and Chevy Low.
