D.A. SCONEZ was born in Washington D.C. He spent his younger years right outside of the district, in Silver Spring, MD. As he got older he moved around a lot from Gaithersburg, MD to Landover, MD. At the age of 16 he began spending most of time in D.C., grinding and partying. Sconez always had the spirit of a hustler. His father was a DJ, which inspired his passion for music and his mother was a real estate agent, which inspired his passion for the grind. As a juvenile, D.A. experienced his first brush with the law, then after, many times throughout his life, hustling to get to the money. In 2003, the young hustler moved to charlotte, NC. to get his business started, then to Atlanta where his success would be solidified. Sconez began rapping and producing in 2005, but his addiction to the grind would hinder his ability to make any serious moves with his music. In 2012, D.A. Sconez decided to dedicate his time and resources solely to music. He has spent months in the studio, and continues countless sleepless nights and days promoting his first single “Turn Em Down”.
