SHOTTI was born and raised in the Lower East Side, he's been torching mics since the age of 16. He wrote his first rhyme and knew from that moment on that god had blessed him with a gift. For a while he found himself writing songs he had nothing in common with, just cause it sounded good, but then his mother kicked him out at the age of 18 and told him in very few words, "its time for you to learn how to be a man" so he left. His father wasn't in the picture so his mom had to be his dad to, there were days when he had to sleep on a bench in the East River park in Lower Manhattan, in the building he lived in, in the staircase on loose leaf paper he had in the note book he wrote his rhymes in, times he had no food, just grinding 24/7 for the simple things. "To be honest, im glad i got to see and feel what rock bottom looked and felt like, it taught me how to survive, to be humble, and to appreciate the little i had." See SHOTTI is not about the fame, he would rather do without it, hes def. about his money, but what he wants the most is for his voice to be heard, and for his message to last long after hes gone. All the pain, all the lessons learned, the struggle, that's what you gonna hear from SHOTTI as a solo artist, songs like "Where Do I Start", and "Dear Father"(Coming real soon), Dear father please make the rain stop / I'm under water cant take another rain drop / Above an ocean of tears i got my hand out / praying that you reach and pull your man out/, and when he's with the team its all about the resurection of Hip Hop, hits like "Where My Shovels At" featuring JISE1 from the All Mighty Arsonist(Coming real soon), and "I'm Known", either way you slice it, its REAL TALK NO BULLSHIT, so show some love and support, and stay tuned for more to come!! Quote (SHOTTI) "if hip hop is dead, where the fuck are all my shovels at!?"
