David Jones a.k.a. “Dave Anonymous”, a Washington DC native, has been influenced by music since birth. Born into a family of musicians, older brother Toby played bass for various bands, brother James played percussion, other brother Billy sang and still sings for various bands, and lastly father William sang for the original Skip Mahoney & The Casuals. With a local celebrity dad in the gene pool, it was a rite of passage that Dave continued the legacy and head into a career in music! Moving in a different direction from the family of band players and singers, he started rapping at the age of 17. The following year he started creating his own beats. He then promoted himself as an artist and producer and started making music for Tru Vizn, his brother James’ music brand. This provided the playground for him to sharpen his skills. He then began hosting M.C. battles at some of the local nightclubs. As he matured in age and experience, Dave’s creativity developed and more ideas of what he wanted to do started to evolve. Shortly after leaving Tru Vizn, he made power moves with his career. He began to attack the various outlets that this industry has opened, doing showcases, mixtapes, and became head producer of the managing company Abstract Conversions. Doing this just put another step in his evolution. Eagerly learning and experiencing the ups and downs of this rapidly changing industry, Dave Anonymous feels ready to move forward. This talented producer/rapper is loved by everybody that meets him. “I have no beef in the streets and I’m respected by everybody” Dave humbly says. His growth has given him the ability to make diverse music whether it’s beats for the South, West, North, or East he can make it! In addition, he shows versatility with his rhyming. He has chosen to do all his rapping with no profanity because he believes it makes writing more challenging and makes the music more radio friendly. Through patience and prayer, his time has arrived. With his blazin new street single buzzin the mixtape game… he says with a friendly smile “IT’S ALL GOOD!”
