Davis Lane is a little bit of everything you like....from Rock n Roll to Country to some good old Folk and Blues. Their players come from a wide range of backgrounds and influences, which gives them a sound all their own. Davis Lane originated in Commerce Texas. The founding members, Josh Hamman and Jason Hicks started out by writing a few songs for fun. It was just something to pass the time after the Wednesday night poker game. Then, the fever took over. The founding members, Josh Hamman and Jason Hicks started out by writing a few songs for fun. It was just something to pass the time after the Wednesday night poker game. Then, the fever took over. They have played everywhere in Texas from the Gulf Coast to the Piny Woods of East Texas, and everywhere in-between. Davis Lane has been home to some talented players over the past couple of years.
