Dawn formed in June 2012, following the meeting of guitarists Dave Kent and John Hocking, joined later by Vocalist Ben Plant, Drummer Martin Billington and Bassist Glen Price. With a wide range of influences including Bon Jovi, ACDC, Thunder, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen, the band bring a unique sound combining edgy hooks and riffs, comparable to the classic rock tones of the 70s and 80s with a modern melodic sound.

The band brings experience to the fold, with members having been on the circuit for a while - with a recording a live CV that impresses. Having recently recorded their debut self titled EP, the band are starting to plan for the future with a number of live dates in 2013 and are working on their plans for a full length album.
