He has accumulated over 15 years of experience as a musician (thanks to the drum set pops bought him at age 6) and has developed expertise in music production and publishing. DbryJ's vibrant sound is best characterized as urban-electronic-dance-pop with hip hop, retro soul/funk, and indie rock influences. He is founder and CEO of DbryJ Music, a music publishing and multimedia production company which offers songwriting and production services to third party labels, artists, and media production companies, as well as his company's own roster of artists. DbryJ hustles hard at the grassroots level in Tallahassee, FL promoting his business, passing out free sampler discs, booking & promoting shows, and hosting Open Mic Nights at the SLC (Student Life Center) on campus at Florida State University. DbryJ's music productions shine with creativity and reveal his hyper-attention to detail. He combines elements from different genres and eras of music at will, crafting a seamless blend he has nick-named "retro fusion." DbryJ is comfortable with and skilled at making hip hop, dance pop, R&B, pop/rock, indie, electronica records, and much more. He delights in being a master of fashioning brand new sub-niche styles.
