David Chatham grew up in the Deep South, singing church hymns with his parents, who are pastors in rural, south Mississippi. Consequently, Chatham’s music is acoustic country with a strong, gospel influence. He cut his musical teeth, singing in the church and after graduating from high school, began his songwriting career.

Recently, Dave was featured on CMT’s “Can You Duet” competition, where he made it all the way to the top 12. Since that time, he’s been traveling between Nashville and Mississippi, adding to his impressive song catalog and working with some of Nashville’s most accomplished songwriters.
