THE DEAD POLLYS is an extension of the singer-songwriter project Eldinger started by Nizze in 2011. The actual birth of these dying pollyboys was the meeting between Nizze with his past in the punkrock scene hans Dr Glitter with a history in the reggae and country scene (and much much more). THE DEAD POLLYS is an extension of the singer-songwriter project Eldinger started by Nizze in 2011. The actual birth of these dying pollyboys was the meeting between Nizze with his past in the punkrock scene hans Dr Glitter with a history in the reggae and country scene (and much much more). As the first songs evolved Dr Glitter actually destroyed them completely as he was adding this dimension of lustre to arrangements that were meant to be quite hard. The first reaction Nizze had was to stop the madness, but as he had the time of his life he let it pass and was soon infected by these influences. IT IS A PUNKROCK ACT, SOMEWHOW given the idea that it is uncontrollable and wild in its creation phases and the lyrics actually is caring for freedom and people. At the same time it is not a punkrock band at all but more a rock band with influences from what the day has to offer. INTOLERANCE is one of the subjects that emerges quite often and we like to bring our listeners to a musical journey into the heart and mind of the world and people we have met. DEBUTE 2013 was the E.P "Waiting For Tomorrow" released by The Dead Pollys and the US DIY label Infested Records. The album was recorded with Sten Gustafsson on bass.
