He was the only one to give his mother complications at birth. Born with kidney failure and a terrible conclusion from the doctors saying it’s a very slim chance of survival he pulled through after a few months of doctors supervision, but after a few weeks of being home with his family more complications occurred, his mother realized he wasn’t urinating so he was placed back under doctor’s care. After being hospitalized again, he had to undergo surgery. The doctor’s were so sure that after all the surgery that he had to undergo it was a chance that he would not walk, but the doctors were astounded when he arrived for his one year doctor’s visit and they saw he was actually walking. “A living testimony if I must say so myself“. Being raised by a mother of nine was no fairy tale story, so his aunt and uncle pitched in to help. After going through a childhood with knowing of his biological father but never seeing him only built up a wall of independence. Now with an attitude that he can do anything his self he was out to prove so. Always had a thing for music, but his rap journey didn’t begin until his 11th grade year in high school, by getting in rap battles and school talent shows. “But life wasn’t getting no easier he said”, he began to sell drugs to better his life but it only made things worse, after seeing his best friend arrested and coming close to getting caught his self he gained awareness and decided to stop before he was next. After signing to a few local independent record labels and not getting anything accomplished he decided to start his own label in 2006, Classified Entertainment. Creating a buzz for his self by entering local rap battles and talent shows, he didn’t get the credit he deserved until he released his mix tape Street Antidote vol. 2. Showing his lyrical ability and diverse style, he also showed people what it is to be independent, building his own studio, duplicating his on cd’s and building a fan base on his own. After a few months on the street with his mix tape he decided to release a single, “I’m So Paid’, the single did exactly what he wanted it to do. It created a huge buzz and gained radio play, a few shows and a bigger audience. Now planning to go further with his career, though he always had to do things his self, he says “it’s no way he’s stopping now”, especially now that he has two kids he have to support a family that needs him and intentions to be successful.
