In junior high he had formed a band called fury. It was then he would meet a talented song writer,performer in the neighborhood name Gangstalove. Although in separate neighborhood bands they would later come together to play local clubs.Today De'Angel's Lastdaymusicgroup and Gangstalove's Gangstalove Entertainment come together as De'Angel James & Gangsta Love and are currently promoting their single entitled I know (your gonna change it) available on itunes under the name Triple OG.
