Dee Rocks Texas roots run deep with both sides of his family coming from Denton and Mckinney Teaxs. Growing up all kinds of music was played at his home, especially Country music, Southern Rock and Rhythm & Blues. All of that great music combined has steered him down the road which he is on today. Dee's creed is God, Family,Country & supports our troops 100%. Dee Rock's song The Uniform is dedicated to the servicemen and women of the U.S.Miltary,it's his way of saying thank you for their service and sacrifice to America and the freedoms that God has granted us! Dee has been fortunate to wear many different hats in the music industry, from producing and writting for various record companys which include Virgin~EMI~Capitol Records as well as writing songs for the Warner Bros. film "Divas". His guitar playing can be heard on the TLC show "American Chopper" as well as on the Discovery channel biker show "Southern Steel/Milwaukee Iron" on which he also sang the shows theme song. Dee has enjoyed all the great projects he's worked on but being on stage is what he enjoys the most! Dee Rock is very proud of his new cd..The Road Ain't Long and was Blessed to work with such wonderful people. Co-producer Tom Paden, his songs have been recorded by country artist Reba Mcentire, George Strait,Tammy Wynette, and Kenny Rogers to name a few. Eddie Kilgallon, keyboardist & band leader for Montgomery Gentry, also contributed to the project and co- wrote "Callin' all Cowgirls" with Dee Rock & Tom Paden.I heard James Otto in an interview use the term "Country Soul" in describing the music that he sings and I would have to say that "Country Soul" would best describe the music of Dee Rock as well!
