MVP was born in Jamaica Queens New York, and raised in Detroit. Being raised in Detroit influenced MVP style of music and writting, by adding a Motowns twist to his music. Some of his influeces are Quincy Jones, Holland Holland and Dozier, Underdogs, Rodney Jerkins, Jay Z, and B.I.G MVP's ultimate goal is to win multiple grammy's.
