www.DevilInATux.com SeanG Biography   Sean “G” Micheal Gordon was born June 15, 1990 in Atlanta, Georgia. His parents, both avid jazz listeners, influenced his musical experience at an early edge. At age seven, Sean began writing poetry at his elementary school. After being exposed to Rap and Hip Hop culture by his environment in East Atlanta, Sean began to write his own lyrics. Inspired by rappers such as Nas, DMX, and his favorite, Eminem, his talent for conveying his passion and emotions through his lyrics began to develop. During his high school career, his lyrics began to reflect the conflicts of his personal life, and thus became more controversial. Sean was suspended temporarily after having his rhyme filled notebooks discovered by a faculty member. The administration both labeled his lyrics as violent and destructive, and, after the events of Columbine High School, feared that Sean was also a threat. However, this only motivated Sean to be more expressive through his lyrics. In 2008 after graduating from Shiloh High school, Sean studied audio production at the Art Institute of Atlanta. After distributing samples of his music among the students, Sean began to develop a buzz around the local Atlanta colleges. Sean soon reconnected with his cousin, Candice “Red” West, a manager and producer who informed him of her ambitions to form Certified Musik Group, an independent label with the vision of signing and promoting local artist in a fashion similar to Motown Records. Red signed her cousin as the first artist of CMG. Soon after, CMG signed many other local artists both from the Art Institute and the Atlanta University Center. Most of these proved unreliable. However, after reuniting with high school friends Marlon “MTill” Tiller, Bradley “B” Sirius, and many other trust worthy companions including his younger sister Taylor “Tay Tay” Gordon, Sean and CMG have formed a creative and cohesive musical organization with the ability to bring a new perspective to the music world. His first Solo Project “{G}ometry:The1stDegree” will be released April 1st 2012, and their newest project, “Blunts and Business” is currently under construction.
