Born and raised in Southern Indiana. Currently living in East Tennessee, moved from Clearwater, FL area 4 years ago to further my music career. I’m an avid UT fan; I love high school football, and wrestling. I enjoy racing, camping, riding 4 wheelers, and spending time with the family. Growing up in Southern Indiana, Sundays were always family day and we had a large family. There would always be a big meal prepared and then everyone would gather around the piano to sing a few times. At a young age I knew I was destin to do something in the music industry. I can still remember my first record player with the disco lights on it. I would play mama’s hand-me-down albums of Tammy Wynett and Tanya Tucker over and over until I knew every word. If at any point in time I had a chance to sing and show off in front of anyone that’s what I did. Around age 7 I started clogging with the Indiana Red Star Cloggers. We traveled all over and I continued to do that up into my teens. Around age 15 Mama and Daddy moved me to Florida, what a lifestyle change that was, a little country girl in the city. I attended high school and graduated in Florida. While in high school I was always involved in music such as advanced chorus and madricals. After graduating high school I attended and completed beauty school, I worked at doing that for quite a while. In the meantime I picked up a new hobby. Never really being the “girly girl” type, I started racing stock cars and that was a great adrenaline rush! At this point in my life I was doing the karaoke scene, never really getting away from music. After going through the phase of racing stock cars, I started working at a dealership as a service consultant and bartending at night. That left little time in my life for music. I finally came to a point in my life where I was able to work one job. I decided it was time to pick back up where I left off in the music industry. I formed a great band and we began playing out 2 to 3 nights a week, making decent money. We played every fair and festival, and some bars that you could think of. Then we had the opportunity to open for Chris Cagle, things took off from there. I recorded an album with some of the original Allman Brothers band members in New York. After all this I decided it’s time to pack up and head to Nashville and that I did. I lived in Nashville for only a year, it just didn’t seem right for me. While in Nashville I met some great musicians and songwriters, and cut a single called “Head over Heels” while I was there. After a year I once again picked up and moved to East Tennessee which is where I still reside today, still searching for something in the music industry. Not too long after moving to East Tennessee I was diagnosed with a severe illness which put me completely out of the music scene for about a year. After overcoming this illness I felt it was a wake up call. I began to see life is too short not to follow your dreams. As soon as I was able I was back out booking shows and doing what I love. As of today I am still following that dream. In hopes of making a difference in someone’s life along the way. I believe we were all put on this earth for something and I believe I was put here to touch lives through my music.
