D.G. started as a singing drummer in a few garage bands. In 1992 he attended Studio DA Music School in Varna, Bulgaria. Later that year, together with other Studio DA students D.G. founded the group DONOS (blues rock, psychedelic). They soon became known as a heavy drinking party band. In 1995 their album Donos was released and in the summer of 1996, after their gig at July Morning Festival the band split. Right after that D.G. started working on his solo album The Angle, which was released in 1997. The song Totally Indifferent stayed 2 months at No.1 in Bulgarian Black Top Countdown and became No.2 for 1997. Together with the bassist Nikola Halloween Nikolov (ex DONOS and FORCE), D.G. formed the group THE ANGLE (1997 – 2007) to support his solo album. In May 1998 they won The Audience Award of Yambol Rock Festival. Together with his rock career D.G. worked as a pop singer. In 1994 he reached the final tour of DISCOVERY International Music Festival. D.G. worked as a Graphic Designer, Stage Manager and Organizer for Discovery Foundation until 2007, when he moved to Canada and joined the group SANCTITUDE (hard & heavy).
