Dislodic hails from the central valley, digging its roots in Fresno California while hoping to reach its musical tendrils to every corner, nook and cranny it can. Forming in the spring of 2008, Dislodic went through a couple different lineup changes and speed bumps. In spite of the rough patches, they rose to the occasion and pushed forward to chase their dreams. By the tail end of 2010 they found all the necessary components they needed to complete the picture you see today: James Sonstegard on vocals, Daryl Bryson on guitar, Lisa Talley on bass, and Dr. Morty Dasalla on drums. Dislodic's music derives from a driving intensity sought to be expressed by every member's unique experiences and backgrounds. They thrive and grow with the need to improve their skills anyway they can to bring the audience a fully layered composition spilling over with melody and dissonant undertones. Dislodic has taken the stage at Rockin' Roots down in Bakersfield with the likes of Taking Back Sunday and Powerman 5000. In 2009 they won the Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands competition and played for Vans Warped Tour in their hometown. In 2010 they were named as one of Skinny Magazine's Top 100 Unsigned Bands of Southern California. Dislodic wants to share the gift of music as they see it, hear it and feel it with all those who are willing to listen.
