DJ Carma, born Oleg Prisacari in1983, is an up and coming electronic music genre sensation. He was born in the Ex-Soviet Union, spent his early years in South and Central America, where he discovered a deep heartfelt connection to electronic music. The late 90s brought about the height of the Napster era, which provided the groundwork for him to explore and discover his musical influences. Artists such as Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, and Mauro Picotto are just a few of the inspirations that helped to fuel the drive of an up and coming DJ.
In the midst of his college studies he decided that if he was going to dedicate his time and energy to something it would be his life’s passion, electronic music. Afterward he enrolled himself in the local DJ School, Scratch Academy, in South Beach, FL. While at the academy he began making appearances at surrounding bars and festivals such as Giorgio’s Grill, the South Beach Halloween Festival, Circa28 and Templo.
In 2007 he began releasing Monthly Mixes, made up of an eclectic compilation of different electronic music styles including but not limited to house, trance and techno. He self-promotes his music by using various social media networks. No songs from previous compositions are ever repeated. These mixes are available on-line to download free of charge.
In Spring of 2010, he decided to take a break from the Monthly Mix releases so he could dedicate his time to music production. At a local private school in the Atlanta area he studied piano, guitar, and voice in addition to production. A year later he found himself creating his own sound with a unique mixing style.
