Don Dolla aka Guapo La’ Don hails from the city of Sanford right outside of Orlando, FL. He has been rapping ever since he was in high school when he was with a group called Diamond ICE. While he was dabbling in rapping, Don also started producing. “I needed beats to rap over and I couldn’t afford to buy them so I decided to save my money and get my own equipment and produce beats for me and my friends,” said Don. While he was building his production company, Lab Work Productions, he met Troy Gunn of Money in the Bank Entertainment. Troy liked Don’s production work as well as his rap ability and wanted to assist him in building his burgeoning career in the music industry as a rapper and producer. Last year, Don released his first two singles. “Fresher than a Peppermint” and “Octane” have been receiving rave reviews on the showcase and club circuits between Atlanta and Orlando. Early this year, Don dropped his newest single, “I Feel Like…(Superstar)” and a street album, “City is Mine”. Don is definitely an artist on the rise. “My ultimate goal in entertainment is to bring good, timeless music to the table.,” said Don.
