He was always a shy child, never said much, & had a very closed mind. Garrett wasn’t really a fan of music until he hit 8 years old When he had his first CD player on a Christmas Day. Exited to hear new music he started buying CDs on the streets looking for Rap & Hip-Hop. Mostly he will always listing to Eminem, 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes, & Etc… as Garrett turn 10 years old his goal was to become a paint artist cause he always like to draw & explore the world of the colors. But as Garrett turn 12 he got bored of the drawing he just lost interest so he just quit. On the summer of 2005 Garrett was looking for a career something to do on his pass time something he like, something he love to do, but there’s was nothing he was interested. But as it hit him watching BET A T.I. Video ,,What You Know ,, shock & fell in love with the music as he finish watching the video he grab a note book & stared Writing songs Tho it wasn’t perfect lyrics he determined to become a underground rapper. A year later Garrett meets with his brother Micheal Campbell aka Mike Mezzl The two brother figure out that they both rap & soon started writing together Doing freestyle Like Wall To Wall, Same Girl, & Beautiful girls. Later that summer Garrett went to dominican rep to study there he met Falso & Solfa a duo rappers who was known in the streets & soon working with them. On 2006 Garrett was looking for a rappers name in that time he was G.P As For Garrett Perez but he didn’t like it that much soo he change it as Double-G & everybody just love that nick name. While the time pass Double-G, Falso & Solfa Did Some Songs Like, Like Yes, Echo (Remix), & More… Double-G was soon as the american rapper in the hood & was soon known tru 2010 Double-G Did a project Called Before & After The MixTape with Mike Mezzl at new york & It Was A Complete Success & The Rest is History….
