Henry Higgs is the newest addition on drums (formerly drummed for The Fallen). Liz Duenas (former dance artist "LIZZ") met Martin Morales and Eddie Chapa who were the band "Degraded" at a rehearsal studio in Santa Fe Springs, CA. They gave Liz a try since they were fronted by a male when they were the band Degraded..she was able to cut it and they soon became DOWNSHOVE. Liz - "When I heard their music I couldn't wait to get home and start writing to it and add my vibe to it." "It was a challenge because I was use to writing songs with alot more singing, but I grew up listening to metal." The way I trained my voice to scream without jacking it up, I just reenact the way I use to scream at my brother and ex-boyfriends! The song "SWITCH" is about ex-boyfriend - lots of screaming at him. Martin's bass has this dance edge (especially in "Switch" and "Goodbye" (but don't tell him that), I love it cause I can dance and then go into a hail of a scream on stage with his bass lines and Eddie definitely keeps it simple and hooky with flavor." Everything has been done, we're nothing new....we're not wannabe's, we're just Downshove. DOWNSHOVE is a high-energy rock band on stage and Liz Duenas definitely jacks it up in the front.
