Drastic Andrew is a five piece rock based Americana band in Santa Fe New Mexico. Formed in 2011, the band has been performing at local venues Santa Fe Sol and The Cowgirl Hall of Fame. They have appeared "live" on stations 98.1 KBAC Santa Fe and 89.9 KUNM in Albuquerque. Their September 2011 debut release, 'Save the Machine', received rave reviews from local music press and the single, "John Henry", has been in regular rotation on KBAC. "Voices" & "Why is the Sky", 2 songs from the 2nd release 'State of Denial', have been selected for regular rotation on KBAC. The band describes a range of influences in it's tagline: "New Rock Country Wave". Critics have noted some oblique elements of Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, The Band, Talking Heads, the 90's Cracker and Radiohead, Black Keys, as well as Bluegrass and classic country influences.
