Now recently relocated to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the Orlando native has survived and witnessed success and tragedy alike but focuses on messages with more timeless meanings that radio rotation normally doesn't provide for its listeners. With no immediate goals of conforming to make it on a major record label, Dru embraces the freedom of independence by not shying away from typical southern hip-hop while still transcending genres (nerdcore, emo-rap, metal, punk). Dru promises that "Defining Moment" will be a unique ride if nothing else.
