At the age of just 3 yrs old he recorded his first demo tape in his Dad's studio in Atlanta, GA. After a childhood filled with extracurricular activities such as little league football and basketball, he gave up his career in sports after his Senior yr in High School, even with offers to play college ball. Da Truth says that he realized his calling was in music because the world and the industry were really lacking Da Truth. In saying that, rapper D.T. means the game is sorely missing the true essence of life. D.T. prides his self on writing lyrics that every real person would feel and he hopes that people can take something away from his words that will help them live a better everyday life. At the age of 21, D.T. now realizes that he is at the stage in his life where he is making the transition from childhood to manhood. His focuses now are to keep God first, finish school, and help make B.G. Ent. into a house hold name. After just 3 short years of being in the music game, D.T. has already manage to open up for Major Acts such as Chris Brown, Rick Ross, Young Joc, Weebie, and Shawty Lo. He has also been able to accomplish making the Radio as "the featured song of the night". In 2006 101.1 the wiz's D.J. Big Greg spinned the record titled "Cincinnati Mindstate" three nights in a row. The record received a massive response accumulating over 1,000 request in a week. At the time D.T. was then part of a Group Called "Fortune N Fame" which included him and his cousin. Since then D.T. has ventured off on his own becoming an strong solo artists. With over 5 albums already recorded, D.T. now has also started engineering, producing, and song writing for other artist, showcasing his many talents. With the release of his "Its Da Truth" Album E.P., D.T. is once again buzzing in da streets of the Midwest. He is looking forward to dropping a single this summer that will help take him and his label to the next level. 4th quarter 2008/1st quarter 2009 should be the beginning of a New Beginning in Hip Hop.
