It is "REAL MUSIC FOR REAL PEOPLE”, say the Members of Duality. Paul Rivers Bailey & J.D. started their musical journey together Six years ago in New York. Both were recording solo albums but quickly bonded and decided to form a group that showcased singing and rapping, with a mission to show that understanding our differences is what can bring about unity. Along the way on this journey they Relocated to New Mexico were they linked up with DJ Automatic who has had an on-air career at several radio Stations and developed a reputation for breaking new artist. They all respected the eclectic nature of their musical taste, and the three along with Big Drew producing have come together to form the Group Duality. Duality would like to paint a picture in hip-hop culture of peace and community. They are also key members of the Non Profit Inner Child Community Outreach that Uses the Arts to Help youth Identify and Actualize their full potential. This is all part of the “1LUV’ lifestyle they represent, that fuses retro culture, Urban Hippie Values, Hip Hop, Community activism, and New Age Ideas with an urban Backdrop. If the principle of duality represents the two extremes in the spectrum of life, then the group Duality hopes that their music can provide a balance between these extremes. The group is now based in New York again and is intent on bringing their brand of music to “Urban Hippies” Everywhere. Over the years this desire and their hard work has allowed them to open up for groups such as Arrested Development, Paul Oakenfold, Tricrotic, Al Green, Macklemore. K.Sparks, Grammy Nominated Eric Roberson & many more. They have also played venues from New York to L.A. and have left college and club venues supremely satisfied.
