Passionate about music from an early age, Duke Terrell grew up
listening to an eclectic collection of music ranging from R&B to Jazz
to Soul and RocknRoll, When asked how he discovered singing, Duke
candidly answers, "I was just a fan of good music, fan of the poetry,
how you could sink into a certain song over and over... in my high
school years I became more vibrant wanted to be more part of the
music." Inspired by the melodic singsong legends Michael Jackson,
Usher, Tupac Shakur (RIP) Nas, Russell Simmons, The Beatles, Dashboard
confessional, Jay-z, and all the other successful musicians &
entrepreneurs around the world — Duke burst into the public sphere in
2008 with his first single, ‘’Get to Know U’’ this was when he was
part from his group KWIET STORM and within months the song was riding
the airwaves of some of the most popular radio stations. Now being
solo artist he has written and made music of his known from ‘’
Splash’’ & ‘’ 911’’ which will be releasing soon.
Duke is an independent artist who has bought his talent out and is now
reaching to his fans looking to be recognized worldwide. He has been
inspired by many artists since childhood pushing him up the ladder. "I
find my inspiration from my fans. Every time you step on stage, the
people's faces make you feel hyped and excited the fact you can move
