Fortunately, the street life was not the only thing on his mind as he attended high school in where he also explored his rap skill. He first started releasing records in the late 90's, part-financing his music by hustling. In 1996, he recorded with close cousin Cezar and released an album titled "Main Event" which was sold locally and later scored a name in his home town as one of the best rappers in Kingston, NY. "The album, gave me the chance to perform shows locally and in other states. DJ's then respected my hustle n flow and allowed me to appear on mix tapes". Alongside partners from his early group "LIASON", DYMEZ, Cezar and Bugs joined a local Rap Movement called Coalition. In 2003 Coalition dropped an underground album self titled and sold well over 1000 units out the trunk. (2000) After DYMEZ graduated from high school he moved to the bay area San Jose, California and hooked up with Atlanta native producer "Plex" and recorded 6 underground albums. Those albums where passed out all over the bay area. DYMEZ later decided to move back to his hometown in NY in 2003 to gain his CDA in child development. (2004) DYMEZ moved back to San Jose, California where his older cousin Diamond Jim was starting up a record label "Frontline Music Productions". During his short stay with "Frontline" he performed and opened up for various recording artists such as Andre Nikatina "Dre Dogg", KRS-1, Planet Asia, and Proof (R.I.P) from D-12. DYMEZ also appeared on a few bay area DJ mix tapes as well as Frontline's compilation album Group Therapy Vol. 1 which hit stores in 2004. Months later his solo project titled "Most Anticipated" was released independently and distributed through Frontline. In 2006 DYMEZ signed on with independent label MI Records out of Fresno, California on a 1 album deal. Through MI Records DYMEZ performed in areas such as Merced, CA, Los Banos, CA and Fresno, CA. DYMEZ worked on an album titled "Ask about Me" which was expected to drop under MI records summer of 2007. Instead of dropping the album DYMEZ went on to hosting a TV show out of Fresno, CA called MI Fame on Fresno KAIL channel 53. (2008) DYMEZ moved to Philadelphia, PA and dropped a new mix tape entitled “I’m That Deal vol. 1” which hit the streets and gained him the upmost respect in Philadelphia. DYMEZ then hooked up with Bronx native/Harlem Raised Sheen Grizzly in establishing the group “2 Much” 2 Much dropped a mix tape called “Pick Your Poison” which created a heavy buzz in gaining the attention of a Philadelphia artists and DJ’s. (2009) DYMEZ and Grizz created the group “D n G” and established a LLC under the name (BROLIC Group). D n G in the making of their debut album “Big Risk, Big Reward”. DnG has been getting radio spins from 100.3 the beats DJ Jay Skii and gaining more recognition in the Philadelphia area. In 2010 DYMEZ achieved is associate degree from the Pennsylvania institute of technology in business management. As far as the music the group DYMEZ is also working on his solo project titled M.I.N.E which stands for "music is not enough". DYMEZ has received spins from NYC online DJ Tommy Gunn on his mix master hour.
