About Edgar Allan Poets
Cortina d'ampezzo, Italy
BIO
CHRISIS (vox, guitar) was born in South Africa where he spent the first years of his life. Son of a flight attendant, he travelled a lot. So he moved to Algeria and finally to Cortina d Ampezzo (Italy) where he now lives. There he started playing guitar and composing his own music. He changed different bands before he met Lop Noor; together they started the Edgar Allan Poets project. Their sound is smooth but strong, it is sad and tender; lyrics are poems inspired by Poe’s novels.
LOP NOOR (Drums) was born in Bergen (Norway). After a few years, he moved to Cortina d’Ampezzo (Italy). There, he started studying drums and percussions. Then he moved to Verona where he got the conservatoire’s diploma. As he returned to Cortina he met ChrisIs and they immediately experienced a very good musical feeling. In September 2006 they gave birth to the Edgar Allan Poets.

We’ve Just finished to record our cd with Rhys Fulber
(Paradise Lost, Fear Factory etc)
We recorded the album in Los Angeles (at the Steak House Studio & Ameraycan Studio)
Some special guests played in our cd (Don Randi pianist of
Sinatra, Beach Boys & Liah Randi, Pink’s bassist)
We have also filmed the videoclip of “Cryptic Code” (which is one of the 13 tracks) in the Monument Valley, L.A and in Italy
