Art DECO ..is established in 1984 as a hobby project by Lene Edvars and Bjarke Gynther Edvars, who next to the project also provides as a couple..... The project is not a traditional band project or a project based on a trained  background as musicians - it's build on a great pleasure and interest in music, sound and equipment:-)  In general we don't  see it as compositions, we prefer to call it .."sound paintings" ..(some times abstract :-) ..Our works are primary from the period ..1985 through to 1993.., where the role of parents, own company (Marketing / import) and more has taken over - without loosing the joy of music, just pushed a little to the background :-)....  The sound examples available here on Ourstage profile was made on our little 4-track Tascam studio, which was later changed to a 5-track Akai..... In "Modern time" we have invested in up to date equipment  (Soft synth's, huge sample archives, guitars, modules etc.) - so new "soundpaintings" will follow to the row of old "Vintage" numbers with new productions as a result of the many resources we have placed in our company "Sound-smart.dk" where we are working with company sound design...   ..you are all welcome to our world.........
