Hello, this is Eight Armed Killer. Our band bio is as follows: A.J. Hoffman used to be a newspaper reporter for a small paper in Northern Michigan. He also did a lot of freelance writing work for a number of outfits throughout the Michigan area. Hello, this is Eight Armed Killer. Our band bio is as follows: A.J. Hoffman used to be a newspaper reporter for a small paper in Northern Michigan. He also did a lot of freelance writing work for a number of outfits throughout the Michigan area. He currently writes and records his own original material for EAK with some help from an old childhood friend, Brehnt Garinger. Brehnt was instrumental as the guitarist and one of the principle songwriters for the rust-rock band(s) The Cartunes and The Rotten Hills. He single-handedly created the rust-rock sound in the Midwest spurring an onset of wannabes. Brehnt also leads his own band called The Rule And The Judge. Eight Armed Killer takes it's name from the octopus, the fiercest of all creatures in the oceanic kingdom. As a child, Hoffman was fascinated with the deadly fish, so much so, that he named his group after it. Their latest disc, "The News," is a commentary on the media and Hoffman's disassociation with the news industry altogether. EAK is currently working on new recordings.
