Stam't is a Camerounian born artist based in Accra Ghana. I compose World and Afro Pop music. Born and raised at Mofako Balue a village south west of Cameroun, where I had my primary education. I continued to Gss Kombone and Lycee Billingue de Bonaberi (Douala) after which I dropped out of school because of financial difficulties. I took up Street education wherever life took me. Holding it down in the streets of Douala in my own way, I made some money and thought leaving Cameroun would be a  better option.                                                                                                            At 16 I left Cameroun for greener pasture and my destination was Spain. From Cameroun to Nigeria, where whilst in Niger I became broke all of a sudden. I had to hustle so hard there for a few years. I continued  through  the Sahara desert to Libya, Malta, and back to Libya again. I then found myself in Algeria Tunisia then back to Algeria and Morocco. Finally I crossed the Atlantic ocean to Spain. In Spain I, or “we” were caught since we were illegal immigrants and were kept in a cell. There I discovered my talent which is singing. I have always been the type of person that says fame fame fame. Even if  i am rich like Dangote, I wouldn't be satisfied like when I am famous. We were repatriated to Mali. I wanted to improve my English, and friend call Tinny from Nigeria recomended that I go to Ghana. That same December I was planning to came to Ghana. I heard from BBC that JAYZ would be coming to Ghana some months later.Ii just concluded YES!!!! To Ghana. So that I could see JAYZ perform live in Ghana. I started this game in the streets of Accra. Three months after I arrived a friend from Guinea introduce me to his friends Survival and Switch On. We formed a group call [D2X] released two singles but later broke up. I worked with FUNKMATA and now am a solo act.    I have learnt a lot from the streets. I sing in English, French, pidgin English and Oroko language, which is my mother tongue. This young composer, song writter and singer is cool and that makes  many judge me to be come the golden voice of Africa. Am so proud to be from the streets especially been in more than ten cities in Africa and two in Europe then looking UP  to ICONS like, Youssou N’ dour, Richard Bona and Alpha Blondy. Nothing can stop me not win a BET and Kora award just to mention a few.
