Growning up in Miami,Fl gave him a Southern/Northern styles in his music.Living in Miami til he was about 12years old with his mother and older brother there was no doubts in his mind that music was something he wanted to pursue.Both his mother and older Andres were writers,While his mother wrote poems his older brother wrote raps he'd would fall right into writing his own music.In 1996 when his mother passed at the age of sixteen Chavos found him self losed in pain, worries,and hurt so he just wrote music about his feeling and what was goning on around him and in his life.But he would never forget the words his mother told him and his brother before passing,"Never Quit" always do what you love.While his brother was trying to get his break thru in the industry Chavos got more into learn how to count bars and read music and format of songs.Soon he was writing and performing with friends and local producer's in talent shows,and hip-hop events. In 1999 Chavos and his friends got together and created a group called "DA TRACE" with helped him change up his syle and gain confidence from his friends and peers.From then on is was non-stop writing and try to become his own man and a solo artist getting great help from his brother and friends he felt like he was ready to do his thing.Early 2001 Chavos came out with his frist solo mixtape called "You Got 2 Phill Me Vol.1" having experience on stage from being on tour with his brother Santo he had no fear of stepping out into the spotlight.Chavos follwed his mixtape with a Vol.2 and got a great response from his friends and fans.As he stared gaining a buzz around his neighborhood and city he hit the nightlife and try to get on every open mic in the city and any public and local events.That helped him get show at local bars,niteclubs,in the Philadelphia area like Crome,Egypt,8th St.Lounge,ClubSamba,Roxyand also local social clubs Flatspin,Caspers,Ringside,Wisky Tango's. By 2004 El Chavos had gain a big buzz around his city and he was asked to perform at "Live Aid" in center city Philadelphia,PA.He was excited that it was in front of thousands of people and he had a great show and he sounded like a professional along his side he had his brother and close friends.That show would later earn him a slot in the Sneaker Villa tour that toured about 20-30 locations with artist like Montana Black,Santo "El Condenao",Du-reack,James Quake.So by gaining the respect and a buzz in the underground music scene he started to hit the road and get fans in NYC,Virgina,North Carolina,Miami,by performing at Club Iguana and the Puerto Rican Parade in New York city he also did the Summer Reggae Fest in Northern VA. Recently Chavos performed at the North Penn VFW in Glenside,PA "Benefiting the Troops" offering care packages to troops in Iraq which aired in Iraq and on Channel 66 September5,2008 7:00pm.In Nov.22.08 he performed at The Trocadero in Center city Phialdelpiha in a lyrical finest event and what called back again March.12.2009 to do his thing again.
