Eliza grew up playing piano and cello. At a very early age she began writing poetry as an outlet for her feelings, while discovering both the guitar and her captivating ability to improvise with her singing voice. Eliza grew up playing piano and cello. At a very early age she began writing poetry as an outlet for her feelings, while discovering both the guitar and her captivating ability to improvise with her singing voice. Though influenced by a wide array of music, her creative song-writing delivery is rooted in Traditional and Folk Rock structures. Her distinctly unique, whimsical and haunting vocal expressions integrate elements of both tribal African singing and Sanskrit mantra vibrations. Eliza has worked with many gifted musicians, including a decade with the extraordinary mandolinist, Bob Bruen. She has also co-written many songs with award-winning author, Michael M. Getz. Her moving and inspiring performances in the Pacific Northwest have included clubs, cafes, living room concerts, bedside music for hospice patients, and even sound effects for clown shows. Eliza makes her home in the heart of Goldendale, Washington.
