Hailing from the musical metropolis that is Los Angeles, singer-songwriter Elle (Lauren Wilkins) is hoping to create a name for herself amongst a vast sea of blossoming talent through her personal yet relatable music. She uses her life experiences as inspiration for her honest and heartfelt lyrics that she gracefully delivers with her beautiful voice. Although singing and songwriting have always been her passion, it wasn’t until Elle saw a live show at the Hotel Café that she realized she had played it safe long enough, and had to pursue this dream. In September 2010, Elle recorded and released her debut seven-track mixtape, Celebrity Dreams Vol. 1, which featured covers of songs by Robin Thicke, Paramore, Drake, and many more hoping to showcase her versatility as an artist. After receiving many unexpected downloads and positive feedback, Elle realized that her dreams could become a reality, and with newfound confidence she began work on her first EP entitled “Inhibitions”.
