Eric Wyatt Mayo was born in Raleigh, North Carolina September 7, 1987. at the age of 12 i found a cassette tape by Jay Z (Reasonable Doubt), after listening continuously Eric began rapping patterning himself after his Idol (Jay Z). Seeing life in a different perspective than everyone else Hip Hop became my vehicle to release my thoughts and frustrations. At the young age of 13 i became acquainted with a DJ from New York, for which i wrote songs that would later be used on various mixtapes produced by this DJ. Promises were made and working relationships formed that lead to me developing relationships with Sony Music, Shadow Boxers, and So So Def by age 16. During his affiliation with these musical entities, a potential music deal as an artist/writer with distribution developed but did not materialize. Now, i have buried my past, refocused my mind, re-created myself and have come to be known as E Pilz, The Pharmacist. i have continuously groomed my skills as an artist and songwriter and set before myself, the task of taking Hip Hop to another level by reaching back to its grass roots. i have been influenced by the likes of Jay Z, Slick Rick, Big L, OutKast, The Roots, 2Pac, NAS, Notorius BIG, Talib Kwalie, and Jada Kiss just to name a few. Using the world as my stage i am eager to display my versatile rhyme styles, catchy hooks, unmatchable concepts, writing skills, and freestyle capabilities, which readies me for any situation, battle or booth. im currently in the studio writing and recording with Flavor Fruit Entertainment of Durham, North Carolina my first home in a long time which is owned and operated by Skaz the DJ for the Legendary Big Daddy Kane.
