North Jersey-bred Kristofer Hunte (AKA Equinox) is a rapper and lyricist from Bloomfield, NJ. Born in Brooklyn, NY in 1987, Equinox was raised by a British single mother his entire life and grew up listening various types of music. Whether it be reggae, jazz, hip-hop, or rock, the 23 year-old musician has always had an ear for great music. Hunte started writing songs as a hobby by himself and with local friends in 2005, then originally formed a three-man hip hop group called “The Glorious” in 2009. The group worked to create their first EP labeled “Monday-Friday Music” and performed in underground bars and for local fans. Since then, only Equinox and fellow Glorious member and producer Jamar Jacobs continue to work on developing entertaining and original music for Hip-Hop fans. Equinox is currently working on his first solo EP titled “Alignment,” which is to be released in the summer.
