In 2004, E-Wil joined Lock-N-Load Records which included "I Love College" rapper Asher Roth (Universal/SRC/Schoolboy). Lock-N-Load debuted with Asher Roth's EP "Just Listen" which featured a track with E-Wil in 2005, followed by the mix-tape "Believe the Hype" which included several tracks from the MC in 2006. Due to the demise of Lock-N-Load records in 2006, E-Wil formed "Hunger Before Greed Productions" with partner Shane Garland in hopes of creating their own imprint to release music. In late 2006, E-Wil released "The Hunger Before Greed" mix-tape Volume 1 which served as means to create a buzz throughout his hometown of Harrisburg, PA as well as portray the life of a up and comer finding his way through, not only the trials and tribulations of life, but the music industry as well. After releasing the mix-tape, E-Wil fully focused on composing his masterpiece debut CD which is appropriately titled, "The Hunger Before Greed". Comparing himself to no one in particular, E-Wil's music is very organic in nature and filling in substance as he tries to carry the legacy of true MC-ing from his predecessors. The CD executive produced by Hunger Before Greed (E-Wil and Shane Garland), also features production from a slew of up and coming producers including: 3M, Coby P, and D-Bo. This project is a chronological time line of events in E-Wil's life for the past 6 years. The true ingenuity and intuition put into this project is impeccable and will certainly make a lot of noise in the game.
