The band's sound has been described as Kaleidoscope Pop Noir, which is a fitting description. Exit Clov is equal parts dreamy harmonies with a with a refined punk thrash. When mixed together you get a volatile, sonic sound that's smoothed over by the Hsu twin's layered vocals. Exit Clov's caressed melodies are easy to the ears, but the truthfulness of their lyrics may not go down so easy.
Exit Clov formed in 2003 and features twin sisters Emily Hsu (vocals, keyboard, violin) and Susan Hsu (vocals, guitar, violin) along with Aaron Leeder (guitar), Brett Niederman (bass), and John Thayer (drums). The band has put out several EP's since their inception and released their debut LP, Memento Mori in January, 2010.
