With a sleek, venturesome and well worn presence in the Madison and national music scene, the members of the capital’s resident rock supergroup FACES FOR RADIO see every show as a chance to show off their skills. Skills they’ve picked up over the past decades in some of Madison’s most successfully produced bands, namely Rapscallion and Last Crack Faces For Radio (FFR), formed in the fall of 2006 in Madison, Wisconsin. This band consists of four accomplished rock musicians: Tod Schwenn on vocals, guitarist Jayme Poster, drummer Chris Havey, and bass guitarist Todd Winger. With thought provoking lyrics, amazing leads, and a solid rhythm section, this much is for sure... this band makes you want to listen...And listen to loud! We all come with many years of experience in the local & national music scene. Before forming Faces for Radio we were in separate bands Last Crack & Rapscallion. Todd W. (bassist) was in Last Crack, a prominate band of the area reaching a national & worldwide record deal with Road Racer Records. Also achieving a music video on MTV during the mid 90's with their own original music consisting of ethereal magic and crowd pleasing chorus's. Todd played bass to the backbeat of his "blood brothers" on two albums Sinister Funkhouse & Burning Time. Jayme P&Tod S were in Rapscallion also achieving their own record deal with a young subsidiary lable of Twin Tone called Red Decible out of Minneapolis, releasing two albums Gardens of Machinery & Chamelion Drool. Both albums consisting of efforts to show we wanted to grow as artist's who love the struggle of putting together chords and melody that people could call their own. Members of both bands are currently creating music to this day. We currently have a 5 song CD of music that shows to be attractive to guitar riffing loyalists combined with accessible lyrical sing alongs. We have remained together through the adversity of day jobs and the traffic of putting songs together. The adversity being worth all the wait while in constant hope that there is one more level our fans can take us. Thank you to all our fans and we hope you enjoy Faces for Radio as much as we love bringing it to you!
