F.A.M. (Family and Music) is a hip hop/rap group made up of 5 siblings. Group members are Super G, D-1, Big Money, JLG, and Diznee; all born and raised in Tampa, FL. They're the last 5 out of 10 children. As young children, they were all very involved in sports, and always being creative when it came to entertaining one another. One way they entertained each other was through music. They always played around with music, and made their own songs. "Growing up in our house was fun, but crazy with all of the noises being made by us. We were constantly making music and singing songs off of the radio, and even putting our own words to them just for fun!! We also used to love to go to our grandma's house, and sit in our uncle's room listening to him make beats when we were younger." Their uncle, along with their cousin 'Kraze', and two other members, were a part of a music group in the early 90's called 'Sunshine Crew'. 'Kraze' later became a solo artist in the later part of the 1990's releasing his hit single, "Roll 'Em". They also have another cousin out of Tampa, FL on the rise by the name of 'Sassi'. "Music runs in our blood!" They started working together as a group in January 2007, when they discovered that everyone in their family has great writing abilities, making songs from their own home computer. However, it wasn't until August 2007, when they took a trip to their sister's home in Atlanta, GA, where they decided, "we can do this; not just as a hobby, but as a career." They then decided to narrow the group down to the bottom half of the children, creating F.A.M. (Family And Music). This young energetic group was so determined to start their career and rise to the top, that they drove two hours away to Gainesville (on a school night) to attend a Music Conference to gain as much knowledge as they could regarding the music industry. However, what they didn't know was that this night would change their image forever!! They ran into several music producers, DJ's, managers, promoters, and many more great people in the music industry that helped them jump start their career, and pushed them to their next level!! "It's like it just happened overnight, in the blink of an eye!! We were at the conference, and the next thing we knew we were performing at some of the hottest spots in Atlanta including T.I.'s very on Club Crucial, and doing opening acts for artist such as Trina and 2 Pistols just to name a few!!" To everyone's surprise, this unknown group was 'rocking the roof off clubs' getting great reactions from the crowd!! "I love their music!!" said DJ T-Roc, who is one of the hottest dj's out of Atlanta, GA after seeing F.A.M. perform at one of the clubs he dj at. "We love to give our fans great music to move to, whether you are a kid or an adult!! We keep it clean so that even if you're at your grandparents' home, you can pop it in their radio and have them juking as well!! But more importantly is that not only do we want to give our listeners great music to listen to, we also love entertaining our fans by giving great performances at our shows!! People who don't know us describes us as being very quiet! But when we get on stage, it's like we just came out of a telephone booth with our capes...ready to go like Superman!!" You can expect to hear many more of F.A.M.'s music in the very near future!! They have currently worked on a single with Platinum House/ Dirty Down Records called "How We Roll" and "I'm Ready(Go)", which is a single written and produced by F.A.M. "I'm Ready" is a song that has a dance to it called 'Go'!! "We will be posting a video on youtube to show our fans how the dance is done very shortly." They are in the studio daily working on new tracks so that they can produce their 1st album in the later part of 2008. They are also currently working on building their own record label as well! "No one ever said that this was an easy business! It's a lot of work to be done, but we love doing what we do, because it's our passion!!" "We keep our faith in God, and always make sure to pray and keep Him first!!"(Phil 4:13). They're inspired by God, parents, fans, & artists such as 2 Pac, Snoop Dogg, Bone Thugs n Harmony, TI, Kanye West, Dr. Dre, Young Jeezy, Young Joc, Lil Wayne, Keysha Coles, Rick Ross, Brisco, Trick Daddy, Soulja Boy, Maroon Five, and many more music artist!!
