With deep roots in classic rock, blues and metal they have developed a sound that is unique but familiar. Fastburn’s founding members are brothers John Miller (lead vocals and lead guitar) and Neil Miller (backing vocals and rhythm guitar). Since they were old enough to pick up a guitar, they have been playing and writing music together. Through the years their music has evolved into a unique rock sound of in your face guitar rhythms, hard hitting drums, wrenching Les Paul lead solos, and hair raising harmonic vocals. Dedicated to making a impression on the hearts and ears of music lovers everywhere, they recorded their self titled disc which was released in the summer of 07'. In an effort to bring their music to life (live!) and to the public eye, Fastburn has teamed up with long time friends and local Portland musicians, Josh Malia (bass guitar) and Matt Robinson (drums). The chemistry between the band mates exploded and the music took on a powerful, energetic presence. Fastburn released the EP, “Big Day” in March 2008. This summer, Fastburn will be invading the Northeast, geared with an arsenal of powerful rock music and a devotion to the craft of putting on a kick-ass rock show, Fastburn is sure to win over rock lovers everywhere they go!
