From the back woods of Maine comes the sound of pure rock music. From the countryside to the inner city, Fastburn is poised to rock crowds from P town to Georgetown. With deep roots in classic rock, blues and metal they have developed a sound that is unique but familiar. With deep roots in classic rock, blues and metal they have developed a sound that is unique but familiar. Fastburn’s founding members are brothers John Miller (lead vocals and lead guitar) and Neil Miller (backing vocals and rhythm guitar). Since they were old enough to pick up a guitar, they have been playing and writing music together. Through the years their music has evolved into a unique rock sound of in your face guitar rhythms, hard hitting drums, wrenching Les Paul lead solos, and hair raising harmonic vocals. Dedicated to making a impression on the hearts and ears of music lovers everywhere, they recorded their self titled disc which was released in the summer of 07'. In an effort to bring their music to life (live!) and to the public eye, Fastburn has teamed up with long time friends and local Portland musicians, Josh Malia (bass guitar) and Matt Robinson (drums). The chemistry between the band mates exploded and the music took on a powerful, energetic presence. Fastburn released the EP, “Big Day” in March 2008. This summer, Fastburn will be invading the Northeast, geared with an arsenal of powerful rock music and a devotion to the craft of putting on a kick-ass rock show, Fastburn is sure to win over rock lovers everywhere they go! January 2008"Break Me Down" was chosen as one of the five finalists in VH1's Song of the Year contest. October 2007 Fastburn is placed on the Official Ballot for the 2008 Grammy Awards by the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences Committee in five categories!Category 4 – Best New Artist Category 16 – Best Rock Performance By A Duo or Group with Vocals for “Break Me Down” Category 17 – Best Hard Rock Performance for “Shine”Category 20 – Best Rock Song for “Friday Afternoon” Category 21 – Best Rock Album “Fastburn”
