Multi-talented Kayla sings, plays piano/keyboards, alto sax and electric guitar, writes music and performs with her group Arctic Thunder. Arctic Thunder recently released a DVD support music videos and live performances with Patti Labelle, Carl Carlton (Bad Mama Jama), The Persauders, Skip Mahoney and the Casuals, jazz artist "Marcus Johnson" and hosting the Summer Music Concert in Walt Disney, (Orlando, Fl.)and Six Flags (Upper Marlboro, MD). Arctic Thunder has also completed their CD. Kayla's mother Beverly, dad Fred, grandmother Annie and little sister Kristian (who is the drummer for Arctic Thunder)came to applaud Kayla's accomplishments. Kayla Patrice (now 11 yrs old)is the director of the Arctic Thunder group. Her indivisual accomplishments include winner of the Rosa Pryor Music Schlarship, Morgan State College Alumni Scholarship, FBI Idol winner, and the Presidential Award (from the President of the United States).
