Luce). Born in Laredo in 1987, B-Luce moved to Houston at the age of 4 and immediately made himself known on the West/Southwest side. Influenced by local artists like The 5th Ward Boyz, UGK, The Ghetto Boys, and Agonylife, while local DJ’s, like the late, great DJ Screw, OG Ron C, and Michael 5000 Watts, also left their mark. At14, B-Luce started to pursue music with LD(Lenny Davis), held onto bigger hopes. The next year, B-Luce broke out to work with artists like Papa Smoke, the Home Team G’s (Allow,Dre & Jay), Dun Dotta, Mason (from the Mason Kights), and Lil’ C, to name a few. From 16 to 18, B-Luce, deterred by other’s inability to keep pace, pursued music with an on-again-off-again status before collaborating with fellow artist, F.D.A, to pursue music full-time at 19.
