His voice hints at JJ Cale and Bob Dylan at their rootsiest best.
Folk, Rock, Blues with a mesmerizing helping of Gospel and some Country Grandeur, provide a haunting and compelling backdrop to his tales of pain, loss and mortality, that are eased by his natural bittersweet humour.
Finlay has just completed his second album, Back To Basics, which has been produced and mixed by John Ryan at his studios in Los Angeles. The album features a fantastic array of musicians who I am proud to call my best friends, including Greg Bone on guitars.
