Flaveret 3rd are a 3 piece pop punk rock band hailing from York in the UK. They have been playing gigs around the UK for the past 4 years. In that time the bands musical capability and song writing talent has grown, and their style has matured and progressed.Although their style is mainly punk rock, not all their songs strictly fit into this category. They draw their impressions from a wide range of artists, from rock to pop and acoustic, and also orchestral pieces. Their energetic live performances never fail to enrapture a crowd, and their catchy songs linger in your ears like a smoking gun.They recorded a 17 track CD themselves in 2006, and then recorded their first studio tracks in 2007; the ‘Project Aurora’ entitled CD. Songs off this CD have been used on the MTV shows ‘Next’ and ‘Date My Mom’, as well as other productions such as promotional DVD’s and compilation CD’s. As well as recording their own demos, the band also do all their own artwork designs and other media such as 3D animation, flash programming and video editing.The band consists of:Alex Todd – lead guitar and lead vocals. Born 1986.Ant Arthur – bass and vocals. Born 1987.Rob Allison – drums and vocals. Born in 1985.They have been playing gigs around the north of the UK for the past couple of years, and in the past few months have built up their fan base in the London area playing at popular venues such as ‘Sound’ in Leicester Square and ‘Café De Paris’ in Soho. Their fan base is predominantly the 13-21 age range, and as such, they are marketed in the style of bands such as ‘The Used’ and ‘Blink 182’.The band are currently writing and recording their next CD, and are networking with promoters, venues and media groups.
