The band's third installment began as an acoustic project, a Horse's name (a good Orlando bartender pointing it out), a genre shift, and a jump 850 miles west back to Central Louisiana... Kenny Crooks (BurningTheBackwoods / HesterLanding), Joel Davis (MyDearestVanity / BurningTheBackwoods), and Jared Burns (MyDearestVanity / BurningTheBackwoods) regrouped to form Flying First Class. The Debut album "Prepare for Takeoff" was recorded with Grammy-winning producer and engineer Eric Delegard (Bowling For Soup, Element 80, Edgewater etc) of Reeltime Audio in Denton,Tx. The album consists of 13 songs, showcasing the band's diverse musical tastes. With an upbeat attitude and feel, FFC hopes to snag your attention using poppy choruses and dance-inspired rhythms... while throwing in some catchy-riffs and crushing breakdowns. Combined, these elements bring you an album you can listen to from start to finish. So, if you like a little Underoath in your Fall Out Boy or a little Story Of The Year in your Cartel... You might enjoy Flying First Class... REVIEWS/PRESS: "I have now gotten my hands on the Flying First Class album "Prepare for takeoff" and I must say that I am pleasantly surprised. FFC has done a good job in the studio making those rough demos into rock songs. [...]The production is good for being an independent album, and I am curious to find out how they sound with a bigger budget to back them up. [...]Overall, I would still choose this band over the overrated Fall Out Boy. With even stronger songs, and the right promotion, these guys can go far. " - Henrik Holmgren Melodic.net
