In the Fall of 2003, WiLLiam D. picked up his drawing pen and began to write the 1st of his numerous 'rap'songs which all have a 'positive' meaning. "In the beginning I would 'flip' popular tracks (rap, R&B, Soul) and lace them with positive lyrics. To help him with his efforts, WiLLiam D. began working with VersaStylz a very talented musician & producer (now living in Atlanta, GA). Their collaboration produced many tracks to include; 'Journey Called Life' - 'No Love inda Clubs!' - 'imabeme!' By the Summer of 2004, FLYPPSiDE was contacted to appear on the nationally syndicated 'Cynthia & Friends' t.v. show based out of Atlanta, GA. The show was produced by Christopher 'PLAY' Martin (of the former rap duo 'Kid-n-Play') and featured many talented artists, singers and authors. Early on FLYPPSiDE was labeled as a 'Gospel Rapper' a title of which he was never very fond. "I just wanted to be known as an artist who kept his lyrics positive." Over the years since he began his journey, FLYPPSiDE has had the opportunity to perform in front of thousands sharing his music with people of all ages and races. His efforts caught the attention of dj KillaGroove in Valdosta, GA who began to spin a couple of his tracks during his 'afternoon drive' show. This soon landed FLYPPSiDE an opportunity to work in radio hosting his own Sunday Morning Jamz Show where he featured up and coming rap artists who also kept it positive. In 2005 FLYPPSiDE and VersaStylz ended their collaboration but FLYPP continued to write and 'flip' tracks as well as introduce new music from various producers across the globe. "I truly thank God for all of the opportunities I've had thus far and I will continue forth until HE says stop!" FLYPPSiDE is supported by his Wife and Daughters and now lives in Arizona.
