In the short time that Forces has been together, the band's focus has been playing numerous shows around their home province of Ontario while simultaneously working to finish their debut recording ‘The Strategy EP'.
The members came together out of their former projects Twinfold, Eye of Morning, and No Measure, combined with a shared love of post-hardcore/hard rock sound while still maintaining a viral and catchy element to their songwrting.
In their previous musical endeavors members have shared the stage with bands such as Green Day, Gob, NOFX, and Earth Crisis and played events such as Warped Tour and Molson Indy. But, even in their newest incarnation, Forces is able to draw an audience, as exemplified by their show self-organized and promoted headlining CD release show at Toronto's Hard Rock Cafe with a sold-out attendance of 500.
‘The Strategy EP', produced and engineered by Greg Dawson (Moneen, The End, Hunter, The Reason, The Getaway), is a seven-song compilation of radio anthems, infectious and catchy choruses, and the sing-a-long cadence from frontman Marcos Ravera.
To date, Forces have independently sold over 1,500 copies of Strategy. Without distribution nor the help from a label, Forces continue their hard work and are determined to turn heads and build buzz everywhere.
