A side project with his wife Lauren, under the moniker Fred and Lauren, has resulted in the release of 4 singles, 2 of which are tributes to the New Orleans Saints football team. Their latest releases are a rock version of the Christmas classic, "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel", and a tribute to the LSU football team, "The Boys From Red Stick City". Another side project under the name Neutron Wednesday, an electronic based project, released a cover of Kraftwerk's "Radioactivity" in the summer of 2011.
