Freddie Gz is a rapper of high caliber that writes and rhymes about the streets, society and the deep stories that happen in the everyday life but nobody talks about. His music career began in 2002 as opening show for Mr Flip, this opened doors for him leading to other opportunities opening shows for Petey Pablo, Young Bloodz, and Pastor Troy between others. Later on his career he recorded a record with Natori from 3LW who now go by the Cheetah Girls. By this time Freddie Gz had built a name for himself calling the attention of Addicted to Money, a New Jersey label that signed him at age 19. He then started performing in Clubs from New York to all major Clubs in the South.
In 2006 Freddie Gz gets connected with Star-Dome Entertainment where he starts working on his development as an artist with big time producer Nattural aka Natt-Trax. In 2007 Freddie Gz began his extensive catalog of records with the release of “South Crack”, a mix tape with songs like “Carolina Swag” and “Diary of A Doi Boy”. In 2008 he continued to increase his catalog by recording a song produced by the great DJ Lantern with the Kash Addictz from Newark, New Jersey. During this year the talented artist released his second mix tape “Get Familiar with Me”; this mix tape flooded the streets of South Carolina with more than 10,000 copies distributed to listeners who are now looking forward to a Freddie Gz album with the same quality and “swag”.
Freddie Gz is working on his awaited and acclaimed album under the label “Addicted to Money” with the collaboration of Star-Dome Entertainment and Natt-Trax. He released his latest mixtape “Goon on Deck” with DJ Frosty hosted by Charlamagne Tha God in 2009, with singles like “In & Out”, “Going Ham” and “Trap Talk”. Currently, he released his single “Gangsta” ft OJ Da Juiceman surpassing all expectations, produced by Dirty Yella from UNI Can Make it Happen Productionz. “Goon on Deck 2: City Going Ham” hosted by DJ Frosty & Charlamagne Tha God is dropping on May 2010 presented by Stupid Dope Moves & Addicted to Money. His next single “Money Don’t Lie” ft Bun B will be out soon.
